Know the asset
What isUSO?
USO is one of the most widely traded ways to get oil price exposure without storing a barrel. Here are the basics.
- What it is
- United States Oil Fund, LP: an exchange-traded fund listed on NYSE Arca under the ticker USO.
- What it tracks
- Daily percentage moves in the price of WTI light sweet crude, mainly through near-month oil futures contracts.
- What it is not
- A barrel of oil. Because it rolls futures, USO can drift away from the spot price over time, especially in contango.
- Who runs it
- A third-party fund manager. USO is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, Saudi Prints.
Straight talk
What rewardsare not.
Not guaranteed
Rewards depend on the reward system's inputs and can be reduced, paused or stopped.
Not risk-free
USO falls when oil falls. Rewards paid in USO exposure can lose value after you receive them.
Not a fixed yield
There is no promised rate. Past rewards say nothing about future ones.
Not advice
Nothing here tells you what to buy. Do your own research.
Risks & disclosures
Read before you buy.
- Crypto assets are extremely volatile. $PRINTS can lose all of its value.
- Oil prices can fall sharply and stay low for long periods; USO follows them down.
- Futures roll costs (contango) can make USO underperform spot oil over time.
- Smart contracts, bridges, wallets and exchanges can fail, be exploited or be impersonated.
- Reward mechanics, eligibility and schedules can change, and rewards may be discontinued.
- Tokenised or synthetic exposure to USO, if used, carries issuer and counterparty risk on top of oil risk.
- Liquidity can disappear. You may not be able to sell when you want, at the price you want.
- Laws differ by country. Some products may be unavailable or restricted where you live.
$PRINTS is a highly speculative crypto asset with no intrinsic value and no expectation of profit from the efforts of others. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Rewards, if any, are variable, may be reduced or discontinued at any time, and are not guaranteed. USO (United States Oil Fund, LP) is a third-party exchange-traded product that tracks oil futures, can fall sharply in value, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Saudi Prints. Saudi Prints is not affiliated with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, any government, or any oil company. Only buy what you can afford to lose entirely, and check the rules in your jurisdiction.
